Concept · not a live feature yet
Journey status, without a phone call.
A social worker waiting on a placement move should not have to ring and ask "are they there yet?" This is a working demonstration of what a real-time status link could look like — sent by text once a booking is confirmed.

Why this doesn't exist yet
Building this properly means a private, authenticated link per journey — not something that should be rushed. This page shows the idea working end to end so we can agree whether it's worth building before any code goes near real journey data.
How it would work
- A unique link is texted to the referrer when a booking is confirmed — no login, no app to install.
- The link shows only status stages and rough timing, never the young person's name or any risk information.
- Staff update the stage from the vehicle with one tap; no manual admin at the office end.
- The link expires once the journey is marked complete.
