Due diligence, in one place.
What commissioners need before booking with a new provider — stated plainly, including what we do not yet have.
What we can evidence at commissioning stage
We are a young company, incorporated September 2025. Rather than a generic list of assurances, here is exactly what to ask Toni for and how to get it — ask by phone or email and we will send you the documents directly.
| Legal entity | Registered in Scotland, company number SC852248. Publicly verifiable on Companies House — no need to take our word for it. |
| Staff vetting | Ask us for current PVG scheme membership evidence for each named driver and practitioner assigned to a journey. Request this before your first booking. |
| Insurance | Ask us for our current public liability and vehicle insurance certificates, including cover for passenger transport of children and young people. |
| Safeguarding policy | Ask us for a copy of our written safeguarding and child protection policy, and how often it is reviewed. |
| Data protection | Referral information is used only to plan and deliver the journey safely. See our privacy notice for the full basis and retention periods. |
| Care regulation | ScotSafe is a transport provider, not a registered care service, so there is no Care Inspectorate registration or grade to display. Our staff bring residential and secure care experience with them; see who we are for each person's background. |
Why this page reads this way
We would rather point you to how to verify something yourself, or tell you honestly to ask us for it, than assert a claim on a website that you cannot check. If there is a specific document or certificate your authority requires before approving a new provider, tell us and we will get it to you.
Complaints and escalation
If something goes wrong on a journey, the first point of contact is the Director, Toni Wood, on 07519 197 035 or toni@scotsafetransport.com.
Framework agreements
If your authority requires an approved provider framework, dynamic purchasing system entry, or a specific due diligence pack before booking, tell us what is needed and we will put it together directly with you.

For commissioning questions, framework applications, or due diligence documentation, contact Toni directly.
